That's such an interesting topic wonderfully written. It was really fun and useful to read. All in all, I really enjoyed reading this poem. I especially enjoyed the rhymes.

Lovely style to teach how to write a sonnet. What is needed to meet the perfect requirement for a sonnet , is told in this sonnet. Desire to write, goal or objective, brevity, use of imagery, compassion , inspiration, use of simile or satire whatever form one needs, metaphors, rhyme , call for muse , alliteration, fourteen line and per line ten syllables. Lovely. There is no need for an hour lecture after reading this poem to understand sonnet.

Your description is a lovely encouragement to poets who aspire to write sonnets. These aspects are common to all rhyming poetry, yet somehow the sonnet is a rather scary form to execute well.

I guess my greatest weakness in writing forms, is the traditional Shakespearean sonnet, I've written about three I think, but none of them is all that memorable. But this is a great example of one my friend. An excellent rhythm and rhyming in iambic pentameter and ababcdcdefefgg rhyming, well done, blessings, Roy

Well to tell you the truth a sonnet is something I have always been afraid of for some reason. I guess I just feel comfortable with my rhymes. However, I think you have just inspired me to write a sonnet. Thank for sharing I really enjoyed this piece.
