Good alliteration in the satori of your haiku contest entry, Zanya.
You did a good job of grammatically connecting lines one and two while using concrete imagery.
Your haiku is written in present tense--a moment in nature captured in time via your words.
Your "kigo", or seasonal reference, is obviously winter.
In addition, you've used all seventeen syllables available as allowed by the haiku form.
