Correction: after coming back, this work now has seven lines, with seven syllables and alliteration on each line. Therefore, requirements contest. There's no reason for this work not to be in the running.
The rhythm scheme is done correctly but, if I understand the instructions for the contest correctly, there is not alliteration on each and every line. Each line also needs seven syllables. "Bear baldness if you're smart" has six, as an example.
You are in good company, some people think baldness is sexy.

I'm glad you pointed out those glitches, H. Rebecca. I had made some hurried minor last-minute revisions to what had been an errorless entry. Thanks to your early review, I was able to make the corrections before anyone else read the poem. I think it works very well now.
If you will take the trouble to re-read it, and you think it warrants an upgrade, I'll be very pleased if you will change the rating to the grade it deserves.
