very touching. I can relate to it completely good read, good presentation. Well done. My aunt had been cremated too. All now have a bit of her shared within the family of 9 kids.

in your heart, you will not be lonely, because that shared love can never be taken away.

Sorry about the repeats. Don't know how that happened.

A brilliant and harrowing poem.
I could feel your sense of loss, and yet your belief that she is where you will one day go, carrying with her all that made her who she was.
Meanwhile, the greatest achievement of her life stays behind as her legacy.
Great job in nailing the emotion of the loss of your mother.
Take care,
Rhonda

This was tough to write. I always write straight from the heart...sometimes with tears dropping.
Thank you for reading and reviewing. Hope I nailed Lonely for contest.

Hi, Brigitte;
Thank you for sharing your poem with your Mom and your daily contact with her - even though she has gone on.
I so wish I had an urn for my Mom's ashes. Instead, she sits in a planter box - (my siblings and I split up the ashes so we would all have her with us.) I will plant her with my roses at my new house.
