I can understand why she didn't ask about your results. I know it's a pain for you and another thing you have to do but I get why she didn't. I hope the electrolytes behave like they should and that you can build trust with the dietitian and any other doctor you may be having issues with. Trust with doctors is so meaningful in health. Hang in there friend

Just looking at the photo sends my soul went into praying not only for you but your husband.
Unless you walked in those shoes one never knew the unbelievable feeling of sometimes what you say or know doesn't could , if you asks question instead of talking t you the call the doctor or hospital I guess its an authority thing or making sure they do the correct thing for your husband .
Your hands are tied your no longer in control until they leave your home.
My prayers are with you both.

Drip food is terrible. I was placed on that method a few times between 17 to 19 years old, however, in the hospital. I had a quick metabolism and had to get electrolytes like Gatorade. I pray your husband can go back to eating food. Soups and puree's at least. It's good to be surrounded by people that love you.

After all the stalls and oversights, I do hope your dear Robert finally gets
all the care and attention he needs at the same time, not hit and miss
as it seems it has been going. It is good that you are keeping on top
of things and checking on matters that need to be checked due to
other's mistakes or faults. Take care.
Best wishes, Ronni

Besides the neighbor's visit and Robert's son's phone call, there is the good, twice-a-day monitoring to be thankful about. I hope his electrolytes respond well to the drip feed and he starts to regain weight quickly. Best wishes to you both, with no more "grass" being mowed under your feet--a wonderfully graphic expression! Cheers- Joan

Sorry that they took such a long time to do such a small job. I really liked your expression: "She mows the grass under my feet." Hope it goes well!
I don't know if you want feedback on grammar and spelling errors. Just let me know if it's not what you want and I'll stop listing.

A major change should be planned carefully. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very good read. There is good imagery and descriptive read.

I am sorry the two of you are having to go through many hardships. One never appreciates their health when they have it, but you miss it when it's gone.
I'm glad you are able to share your experiences with us, your friends.
Take care,
Rhonda
