it is also a fine and pretty home
the right one will be there but we may not see why the knock backs until we see the reason in the wait and the search for THAT ONE
I know that sounds feeble but there is most likely a very special reason
hang in there
have a smiley day

Hi there;
Well, all hope isn't lost. We have been placed in the 'backup offer' position on the first house and last night we put an offer in on a gorgeous Craftsman home. I'm feeling confident we will be starting a deal SOON!

A very good Minute poem. I like the mixture of some sarcasm, with some hope thrown in, for good measure. It must be frustrating, searching for the right home, when the holidays are right around the corner. I felt sad to read this short poem but, also had a good laugh as well. The syllable count and rhyme scheme are Right On! The photo of, a potential new home, is poignant since you might not get it. Keep on keeping on, as best as you can! I hope you find the home you are dreaming of.
Take care, Jesse

Hi, Jesse;
Thank you so much for your kind heart. This IS frustrating, but I know the right thing is out there. If we don't succeed in putting together a deal this week (with a close at the New Year,) then we will stop looking until after Christmas.
I'm keeping it together as best I can, and it helps to know I have my FanStory behind me,

You sure do! You can count on me to be supportive in any way I know how. FanStory helps a lot of people, I am beginning to realize just how true that is.
Your friend, Jesse

I admire one who can write a properly laid-out minute poem about something and protracted and frustrating. Good luck. Hang in. Excellent minute poem, I think.

I was just looking for a place to move myself in Southern Oregon, where I lived many years. I remember the Willamette Valley and have an idea of how you must feel to be waiting to settle down there. It is a lot like going home to the old homestead in one's mind.

Hi there;
Yes, the Willamette Valley housing market is crazy right now. I know we will find the right thing at the right time. Just tired of wasting money on renting,

Best Luck, wish I were there myself.

I can feel you frustration in this one. The wait can be exhausting and then to learn someone else got the house makes it even harder. I hope this one is the one. You've waited long enough. Very nice work with this, you expressed your feelings very well in this poem.

Hi, Sasha;
Thank you so much for your encouragement. Fingers and toes crossed. Hopefully, we can put something together this week, or we will have to wait for the New Year.

I had to smile when I saw the picture of the house it looks like a home we once owned years ago The only difference is the paint color
What a sad poem with clever rhyme to read
about you finding ahome
to own and can not
roam
'cause
They want a ton!

Hi, Gert;
Well, when our offer was passed on the first house we tried for, I was crushed for a bit. Today, however, we are going to look at two others. Maybe one of them will be the one?

Happy house hunting ~patty~
I hope you find the home of your dreams where it won't need to pay a ton for it

Hi, Patty
= Ahhh, so sorry you didn't get the house.
= Just means another one is out there for you.
= Although that is not helpful now, as I know how disappointed you are--we've been there.
= Hang in there!
Cheers, J

Hi, Jax;
Yesterday when I found out, I was crushed for a bit, but this morning I have a new outlook. We are looking at two homes this afternoon - maybe one of them will be THE one,

Comment from Thomas Bowling
Good luck. I hope you get it. The good thing about paying a ton for a house is you can get a mortgage and pay by the pound. It doesn't sound so bad now.

Hi, Thomas;
Thank you, kind sir. Maybe the two we are looking at this afternoon could possibly yield a home. We shall see,

So sorry to hear that, Patty.
I know this is small consolation at this point, but you will get the RIGHT one. Maybe the one you lost has termites??
Hang in there.

LOL! You know, I was thinking that very same thing. And then I told myself to STOP - those other people are probably very nice. Just because they popped my bubble doesn't mean they deserve termites and rats and roaches, right?

Sounds like the same old deviosity to me. What a shame, I'm sorry. This is an interesting way to share, but frustrating for you. Your minute poem says a lot, not only about the house!

Hi, Trisha;
The housing market here is fierce. Everyone is looking for the kind of home we want -- and so, it goes. I'm waiting to hear back from my realtor. We need to find out which of the houses we like have offers from over the weekend and then go out and look again.

Good luck
