Hi there,
There's nothing worse than ailing health and an apathy toward writing. Been there myself a year and a half ago. My membership is up for renewal so I may go the same way...
Your haiku have been great and a great source of inspiration and assistance to a great many here which will be missed.

I'm sorry to hear that you're leaving the family, Marival. But hopefully, it won't be forever. Writing is a fine hobby, and I know you enjoyed it, and loved to share your talent. Perhaps there will be time to heal and refocus. Whenever a good friend leaves this place, we all feel the loss, and I am sad to see you go.

You know how you find yourself in one of those situations where you know what's about to happen, you don't want it to happen, but you also realize you're powerless to stop it?
This is one of those situations.
You have been one of my staunchest supporters, biggest inspirations, and influential people I've come to know and love here. The work we did together on our Horror Haiku books with Claudiu, Barcolac and Mirela will always leave me with bittersweet memories. Not to mention working closely with you, Douglas, aka, The Badger, Mikey, Robyn Corum, Luna Saluna, Jim Lawson, and others, on our haiku anthology book.
So many of you are gone now.
I think we accomplished quite a bit together and for that, you can be proud.
I'll sure miss your writing, but I won't be a stranger.
You can rest assured of that. In fact, I may not be far behind.
I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving Day with your family.
A Christmas card will be comin' your way very soon, just after Turkey Day.

I must say, I saw this comin'

You made me cry. It's true, we have done well together. It feels like another life. Tom talked me into leaving the account active in case I want to come back.
