Well done, Mikey. A very strong message for a very short story with lovely illustration to go with it. I wish you the best of luck, I think you should win with this entry. Hope you are well, Giddy

Hi, Giddy
I'm fine, just buried in work. I still keep sneaking postings in though and then I'm buried in work here too. LOL
Hope your are well. So pleased you liked this one. Thanks so much, mike

Hi Michael,
You've done a great job with this one. All down to the interpretation on this one.
Excellent coupling with the picture. (incidentally, my first ever published piece covered this ground but with a heck of a lot more words...lol)
So much here told and inferred with so little.
Great stuff.

Hey, thanks so much. You obviously got this one hundred percent. I got a kick out of the title, but I think I may be alone in that. LOL. I'd love to read the piece you wrote. You should post it. mike

A lovely photo and general layout that complements your poem very well. A good entry for the Six Word Story in the Flash Fiction Club. I truly wonder about the meaning of this priest praying for young boys. Or is he abusing them? Best wishes for the challenge.

Clever six word story entry for the Flash Fiction club.. the poem has an eerie feel to it. Plus the picture adds to this feeling hanging over the poem. Seems like you met the requirements for this contest. All the best.

Hello, Michael,
I don't know whether to cry or to laugh. This is true. I was an advocate of victims of rape and molest for three years and we had many cases where a priest was the offender. Good picture. Very effective six words.
I am closing my account so this will be my last review. Take care, my friend. You know where to find me.

This can be taken two ways. One very positive and one very negative. I'm prefer to believe it's positive, but in today's world my mind entertained the other.

Wow Mikey, what an impactful story you've told in six words. It is socially relevant and actually painted a biting indictment of the abuses of the Catholic Church. I think you nailed this one.

This is fantastic and I presume the pink on black is intended to add another layer of meaning to a decidedly important social commentary. Even though it certainly can be taken in two entirely different ways with the whole presentation the meaning seems to be the ominous one of pedophilia. It seems not allowing priests to marry may have the opposite outcome than what is intended. I suppose if one was a monk meditating on a Himalayan mountain top it might be a different story.
Exceptional work and with only six words. It is said that brevity is the soul of truth.
Great job!

You have it exactly right and as intended down to the title. HA! The monks are wise to be on a Himalayan mountain top. They fully understand the intense drive of temptation, yes? LOL

Wow! You jumped right in to the controversy and that took courage. I enjoyed the simplicity of the statement and the conviction of the writer.
