Sadly, this is often the case. Our politicians are only too eager to enlist the help of our armed forces to implement their policies, but rather less eager to follow through on their commitment to look after the wounded ad the families of those who have lost their lives in the conflicts.

A good Septolet poem about veterans returning home.
I agree that they do not get the support they need after giving their all.
