I love the opening stanza, the visual of morning doves is something I can relate to and has high impact. The poem slowly unveils a personal connection that is sorrowful for the reader and poet because of the loneliness conveyed. Very powerful poem, I hope the narrator doesn't disappear.

A very well-written loop poem about sorrow. When we lose a loved one our hearts are overpowered with sorrow. We have to go through the mourning process, to fill our hearts with hope and laughter again.

I am rewarded with inspiration as I continue to read poetry written from the hearts of FS community members. Your poem has embraced symbolism, sentiment, rhyme, imagery and feeling and lovingly nurtured them all. While I have yet to consider writing a Loop style poem, I get so much satisfaction from learning from others. Thank you for the gift. I am certain that you gain so much comfort from your beautifully penned words. Kind regards. Diane

Congratulations for being able to use your background as backdrop for a wonderful poem. Well rhymed and it flows so easily. (As an aside...the feared death of a loved one does not haunt a Christian.)

In my opinion, a truly beautiful and plaintive poem, conforming perfectly with the prompt - well constructed in both rhythm and easy rhyme. Best of luck in the contest to a fellow contestant...

You have written an excellent loop poem. You expressed yourself perfectly. This is a very good contest entry. I'm sure you will do well. I tried to write a loop poem, but nothing worked.
