That is so true and I couldn't agree more. They all lie because they want to get re-elected and obviously the only way to do that is to lie. I think it'd be best to kick them all out of office and start fresh. That still probably wouldn't make a difference though

This is great..I think you are right. Too many lies come from politicians, and after awhile it's hard to distinguish the lies from the truth. I like the image you picked , very interesting. Thanks for sharing.

am not quite sure I got your meaning here correctly, but I think we're more or less on the same page as far as politicians are concerned. I agree with the truth of the poem that - especially in the 21st century - politicians do tend to thrive on nothing but lies, as if truth has turned to that which is negative and undesirable.
In fact a lie is true once qualified as an "alternative fact".
The lie can even be "post-fact".

Most folks feel that way about politicians, too, Kahpot. But I think you'll probably be in trouble with the Committee unless you change the adjective "true" to the noun "truth." Also, I suggest you reconsider "open THEIR mouth." Maybe something like "utter a word."
