I love birds and your story of the one-eyed, finch, Hector touches my heart. The line, "he came home where he was wanted." That line really grabbed my attention and warmed my soul.

As humans we get attached to many forms of life from the simplest which could be a turtle or even a plant to two more that's and complicated a human being they all bring us some form and degree of comfort and joy my current Comforts injuries are my four cats and two litters of kittens I had 10 kittens and I'm down to 6 and every day that passes I dread when I give another one away thanks for this very well written with great theme and imagery doctor Ricky 1024
