Hello Dan
I really like your true story of you being a medic in the Viet Nam war, yes it took courage to be in a place in hostile fire.

Dan,
What a powerful piece. You're right, EVERY member of the services is a hero - regardless of the position they hold or the place they serve. It requires a certain unusual bravery to be willing to go off to defend the country you love. I am amazed and beholden to those who answer this call.
Favorite lines:
Soldiers march in distant lands
Some remain to hold the land
Always ready to receive a call
Where life may end before too long
Still there are those beyond the brave
They wear medals often to the grave
Thanks so much!

Hi, Dan
= Thank you so much for all you did while in the service.
= Being a medic, I cannot imagine what you saw--went through.
= Something, I'm sure, no one can understand, unless having been there.
= Excellent write, my friend.
Cheers, J
Have a good day/evening!
