I wonder if anyone will ever sing this. I used to think I could walk on forever but only at a gentle stroll these days. The old metabolism is slowing down a bit. Mind you a gentle stroll through woods like those would still be a a pleasure.

I would always be happy to wander in your woods. I enjoyed your rhymes and repeats plus the "symphonies" metaphor in your Sounds of Silence format. Your photograph of Autumn is spectacular. Cheers- Joan

Tom,
What a delightful post! I loved the images you created here, even without your very cool picture to accompany. *smile* I also liked this form that you've used - it was perfect for this content. Thanks so much!

A very well-written poem about nature and the beauty we can find there when we take a moment to enjoy the silence and the birds chirping in the trees. All beauty can be found right beside us, we just need to look and see. A great photo captured.

I enjoyed the lyrical flow in your poem. The mix of rhythm and rhymes are very appealing. Strong visual imagery. It is very focused and still creative. Nice work.
Great author notes too.
Have a nice weekend :)

This speaks about the feeling of silence and sense of isolation in appreciation of beauty and glow of Nature in the woods, sound of silence appears more meaningful and appreciable; I liked.

Delightful! I could almost see your forest and your creatures. As a nature lover, I absolutely enjoyed tip-toeing through your beautiful woodland, and loved the way you described it.
