Wow. This poem made the Diwali (Festival of Lights) really come to life. I loved the excitement and fun you described. I could hear the music, see the lights, and wished I could enjoy some of that family fun and food, of course. Congrats on the win. A joy to read!

I can hear those bells of rejoicing from where I live in Australia,

My only suggestion would be that this line was a bit unclear to me:
Every [[feeding - dish that's?]] before us; "Ummm! ... just fine."
