    Looking forward to reading it. Thank you for reading and sharing. Six words is not a lot to tell a story, so, I am thankful for Ski-II for providing the image to complete this piece.

Cool word choice. I also find it admirable that you entered a six-word poetry contest. I don't think that I'd even bother; I am too verbose. haha Since we are also supposed to put in something that we think could use improvement, I guess I will suggest that perhaps you could use the word "soldiers" or something in the poem so that the reference is more clear? I like your poem how it is either way, though.

    No problem. It's the least that I could do. Yes, the image is helpful, and super-yes, six words is not nearly enough. ...I felt sort of obligated to put in an "improvement" note. Like I said earlier, I think that you're fine without it :)

    Yes, I am keeping up. Haven't had a lot of time to write reviews. had book signings this week, my first experience with this. Still reeling and trying to keep up with demands that a published book requires. It is not my best work but one I loved. My best is coming in January, I am working on that feverishly.

    I am in total agreement. A perfect combination and I thank the Fan Art provider Ski-II for providing this image and allowing me to use it to complete my poetry.

Blood an Tears is a short and well worded poem. It's not easy to paint a picture with so few words.

    Thank you kindly. I wrote as a tribute, the contest only collateral asset. six words to tell a story is difficult for me.

OMG such powerful tribute and acknowledgement of our Veterans. Blood and dust does, indeed, symbolize bloody wars and battles soldiers suffered. WELL DONE imagery, also. lol liberty justice
