There is a sweet sensuality here...muted in metaphorical reference sublimely!

The rhyming of this poem is very good and I love the imagery of the garden and all that it contains. The rhythm is good throughout and the poem certainly reads well.

This is a very very different kind of poem than the ones you usually write. There's still the rigid construction and the disciplined meter, that regimented marching rhythm and sharply echoing rhyme scheme, but the imagery is all pastoral romantic and there's this dream like sense of being in some kind of paradise. estory

I like the variety of strong sensory detail in this poem. I also appreciate the back and forth between purity and sin that the garden evokes or encourages. Your rhyme and rhythm, as usual, are spot on. I also liked reading the extra notes on form. This poem was enjoyable and inspiring.

It was a beautiful poem. It smelled like a spring garden - I could feel the aroma of all these beautiful flowers. Excellent used of 8/6 iambic tetrameter.
