What a terrifying video--how could that little girl manage to stand so still! I admired your echoing sounds like in "nurse" and "curse" plus your signature circularity. Cheers from Columbia- Joan

"No count adulterers with good intentions" very interesting way of saying something negative and something positive about someone. Writer uses literary devices like metaphors to dramatize several convictions writer makes. lol liberty justice

This is a very strong work. I gather this is about child abuse. Difficult to write. And to realize that this happens in our so called civilized society. Kudos por posting this work.

I know many of us can be made to feel worthless at sometime in our lives by others but the ones who forge new frontiers are those unafraid of all obstacles and who will stand up for what they believe in.

In their truth, or at least what they know and feel to be the truth...but *finger shake*...Opinions are like bums. Everyone's got one. But some of them AREN'T very nice haha

Come swim against the tide with me.
I have two life preservers haha

I'm kidding
You'll sink.

Love you're style. Please NEVER change. You are one of the very few unique entities on this website.

Stephen, as I recall, was stoned for no reason other than speaking the truth. Even though God was surely pleased with his life and devotion to Christ, his life was not spared and the stones were unmercifully painful. "Reign hail or holy water," your name too, is loyalty and devotion to truth and will not change no matter how many stones hit. I admire your steadfastness and your courage. I sense deep loyalty in you and think this poem is a clear description of who you are, from the inside out, as well as the suffering you endure. Just as Stephen did, I can easily imagine you find your strength in God. In Him, you are "rock solid strong." I love the 121st Psalm. Thank you for mentioning it. This is a brilliant poem, but painful too. It describes courage in the face of pain and death, and steadfastness even though the path is narrow and forsaken by most. You are a brave poet, Michael. Please keep writing. (I listened to the song and wondered why anyone would "keep coming back for more." I hope you find her, my friend.)

And was it strengthening? I read it often myself.
I loved your poetic introduction to this reply. Some deep questions here to ponder. I hope you have the answers. ~ Meadow
