A poem to express emotion3 total reviews

This speaks about emotions and emotional effect of a hammer; how it works and has to go for memories and wishes to act other human activities like seeking apology; I liked.

Thank you.

Holy hammers, miajaffri. Are you saying that you hit your friend with a hammer?
Jumpin' Jeezus on a painted Palomino pony!
This poem gives a whole new meaning to the phrase, "Getting hammered."
At least your friend didn't lose an eye and has just a scar.
It could'a been much worse.

It was an accident. But, I am grateful it wasn't worse.

I'll bet your friend is too!
All the best to you & yours,

One wonders how a little girl's eye got between your hammer and the wall, or at least this one does. That's apparently a heavy burden to have carried for so many years.
At least it sparked a good poem.

I was hammering a nail into a piece of wood on the grass. My friend was standing behind me.
