Wow! Edgar Allen Poe must be doing wheelies with delight from his grave! This poem is an intense story full of vibrant imagery. What a Halloween treat! Thanks! Caroline

This speaks the only and exclusive face, so scary, could not be forgotten, anytime it would come up in vision or mind, nothing of it could be erased, dipped into soul; I liked.

Hi there;
Thank you for sharing your piece in the rhythm and rhyme of Poe's Raven. Your lines give the old piece a new shine and outlook. Well done.

You are so right because once I began to read Poe came to my mind. This is good work, very artful and crafty, and savvy written. In a way I cannot say enough for this good work for the contest.

This seems to be a rewriting of Poe's "The Raven". It tells of a bird that attacks your conscience and makes you see and show those things you try to keep secret from others and yourself.

Good luck in the contest.

Keep writing
