Thank you for your kind review. We are enjoying our cool autumn day today after months of 100 degree temps. here in California.

It's lovely, not outstanding. It contains no surprises and what is a poem without surprises?
Yes Autumn is a welcome relief after the constant heat of winter and not to mention it's pure orange and yellow leaves falling all around us is a shame.

Yes. No big surprise. You are right. It's very limiting to follow a 2-4-2 pattern. But, it's fun to try.

Even a short poem can have a surprise in it. I know u can do it.
