Good grief, Bob, you always have me trying to figure you out. I realize you live in hotels from one city to the next doing your... IT work, isn't it? But now you have me intrigued... What if our sweet little Bobby was actually a spy? (No, no, don't come kill me 'cause I know - I promise I won't tell anyone.)
You write about waaay toooo many topics of things and write about them way too well. I just can't figure you out. *smile* AND when - in blazes-- are you gonna STICK WITH one of these stories and see her through???
Just as I fall in love with some characters or other, you switch up on me. UGH.

Thanks. In fact, I am now retired from all things work related, but somehow that means I have no time for anything. There is another book I have to finish soon, but this one has legs, I think. There's two distinct stories going on here, and maybe a third little diversion as well. We'll have to see. I'll try and stick with this one, promise

A good take on current affairs, I suppose, with tongue in cheek.
Sort of le Carre watered down.
I did like the dialogue, secretive as it was, complementary to the topic.
"We suspect Spain might have approached our man. If the flow of intelligence tilted towards one side, well, we could end up with shit on our face, and that's not something His Majesty's Government(Why His Maj's rather than Her Maj's? Just wondered, because the little upheavals are happening here and now.) is amenable to. So get your shit together and get your arse down to Lisbon. There's a train this evening at 18:00."

Thanks. It's set in the near future. I envisioned the Sapin Catalonia disoute going on for some time, but i might change the regions later
