Some big problems to overcome. Poor Joe is worried nearly out of his mind. I thought it interesting that Francis could see Veronica. I hope she can find the albino man.
I'm giving you a six because I know you will make any needed corrections.
In the US, Francis is used for males.

Wow - how confusing! No wonder Veronica doesn't know what to do next. And the arrival of a ghost is a great cliff hanger (you know how I love my ghosts!) Hopefully, whoever she is, she'll be able to shed some light on the paternity of poor Frances. I can't wait to find out!

This is a very good chapter in your book. It contains the type of ending I like to see in a chapter- a cliffhanger. It gives the reader a reason to come back and see what happens next.
