Good morning again, DIP: You are really touching on all of the important subject for me today. As I click on your poetry, they are reminders for me today because my daughter is a Suzie, lately. I can see there is so much missing in her smile, whenever she does smile. Her smiles are so rare lately and I don't know what to do to help her. Today I will start to spend some much needed time with her. I just cannot lose her to depression. I feel hopeless but I will look to my Great God. She has abandoned him too but I can't stop trying to reach her heart. Thank you, DIP. This poem was like the slap of realization for me. Have a marvelous day.

    Thankyou so much Tier I am glad it struck a chord with you I had no idea your daughter is a Suzie. I picked that name as a generalization it could have been any name. hoe coincidental is that. I hope it has helped you connect with her.
    Thanks for the wonderful 6

Dip, This is a very well written and compassionate poem you have penned about all the Suzie's in the world. I remember feeling that way when my sister died. I had no hope and was so sad for so long. Finally I started to smile again and my aunt was so happy. She was sad that I felt lost and lonely all the time. It does help to have a kind word or someone to care. Great wording and great job my friend. Blessings, Teri

This is an awesome message. I deal with a sister who has mental illness and I myself suffer from seasonal affective disorder. Sometimes having someone to talk to makes all the difference. Thank you for sharing your work.

You are quite correct of course, there are a great many "suzies" out there, and you make a very valid point that we should all try and be there for them.
Great poem with a strong message.

Dip, this is a powerfully written poem of how we should try to hep others who are suffering mental anguish and lose hope. I suffer from depression at times and many folks do not understand. Thanks for sharing. Patricia

Hi, dip;
Thank you for sharing this heartfelt poem about reaching out to someone in pain. The sufferers of mental illness and domestic violence and so many other things came into my mind. It is so important to be a 'monitor,' and help when you can and if you can.

It's nice to know you're there,

~patty~

This is excellent, Mark.
It's well written, well rhymed, caring and compassionate.
I think all of us know someone just like the girl "Suzie" you portray so poignantly here in your heartwarming piece.
