I'm still on the fence where my opinion of our 45th President is concerned, kahpot.
As a combat veteran, it's my duty to respect and uphold the policies of our Commander in Chief. On the other hand, he does say and tweet some very brainless, stupid comments sometimes.
Of course anyone who enlists knows the risks they are getting into, yet they still enlist willingly.
It doesn't do a mother who has lost her son any good at all to hear those sentiments spoken aloud.
"We as a humble nation thank you for your son's unselfish sacrifice in defending the honor of his country."
That might have been more appropriate.

Hi Kaypot - To be honest this was a bit too subtle for me. It came in the end but took a while. If you are in the public eye then you usually have to expect a lot of criticism from the public. He's certainly getting it. I think he's thick skinned enough to survive it, but I'm English, what do I know? But we get it all on the news - the BBC. But half of what they tell us is questionable when it comes to the truth. Good Luck in the contest. Your writing was clever. Regards Dorothy

These six lines tell an important truth. If you think only of yourself you can't be there for everyone like a president should be.
This is a good drawing of him. You can get the feeling of his ego in it.
