This is a fun poem that made me laugh with its Norman Rockwellian humor of an officer ticketing a kid in a toy car. There is a nostalgia and charm to this. This is also an ekphrastic poem because it only works with the photo and cannot stand alone. I enjoyed it because it made me reminisce about how we imagine the past and the present.

Hi Andre, I love the picture...reminded me of the Silverado truck...same small size my grandson had...my son put these big flood lights on it...you could see it a mile down the road...LOL...thank you for a great review my friend...love Linda xxoo

Hey, these are getting smaller and smaller... that doesn't make them any easier to write though. I'm a writer and not a mathematician and these syllable counting jobs are way too hard for this old bugger.
