Nicely done and I wish you the best.
The brief, but complete, journey through life,
makes for a quality, short poem.
Thank you for sharing, I loved the baby pic.. :-)

JUNGLEFIGHTER,

A cute little number. The arrangement is understandable and effective. Nicely effective and impressive. Very well reflected thoughts and expressions. This poem was arranged very well.

Everything was clean. Comprehensible and very nicely written.

The words you chose worked well.

I look forward to seeing you again.

Love you,

Oatmeal

In my opinion, a clever and lyric fast forward that says it all in its definition of a birth to death scenario - remarkable in its obviously short and smooth structure, and in full compliance with the prompt. Best of luck in the contest...

Cheers, Junglefighter;
-damn! You gave me your name earlier and I thought it was Michael but I wasn't sure? Dumbfounded ;~{
-excellent work here my friend. You really touched on something profound and yet worded it within inventive style. So blatantly creative that one has to think in a metaphorical way, just how footprints make a big impact on our lives especially in each step we take and each step we don't take as we grow older. My wife said it best be wear diapers when were born and we end up wearing diapers when we're old.
-Excellent picture which is very relative and supportive to your conceptual theme.
-I wish you best of luck in the contest is I think this will be a strong contender and as of now I'm tended to vote for yours.
-Good luck in the contest and may peaceful harmony always be with you.
Alex
PS: I just realized this is not a member contest but a site contest and I can't vote. I told you I was dumbfounded. Chuckle!

When we see lives in history, their coming and going seems to pass in a few seconds of reading. What lies behind the words, between the lines, and beyond our understanding is what makes a life meaningful. Nice send up for a dad's dad.

Short and sweet...a perfect entry. Your grandfather would certainly appreciate such a dedication. Well done and best of luck in the contest.

I was a breech birth baby, Bill, coming into the world feet first.
Which probably explains a lot about what's wrong with me to begin with.
Poor Mom, it liked to kill her, or so I've often been told.
We all die--it's inevitable and we can't avoid the finality of it all.
Hopefully we were able to make a positive impact on those we came into contact with during our brief stay here. Hopefully we've left behind a legacy of love and touched a few lives in a positive way along life's journey.
Hopefully you do well in the contest.
Good luck!

Hopefully you don't die before the contest is over! I like what you've done with the movement from life to death. You may want to count your syllables again.

    Smarty britches, has noticed that your syllables have been fixed now. Smarty britches guesses that other people had to tell stubborn head before he fixed it.

A bittersweet poem. I was born dead. The umbilical cord had worked its way around my neck an strangled me. My Mother said I was blue and didn't cry, but the doctor performed CPR and brought me back.
