This is an interesting little story. I wonder what happened to him? Animals seem to have an instinct about people & knew your husband needed comfort at this time. I enjoyed this, well done.

I'm not certain about the phrase "because Willy had just disappeared" but this would be a great entry in this contest Loanna. The narrative does leave it open to interpretive mystery, so I must confess it's probably a good entry, well done, good luck, blessings, Roy
