This is a very cute Tanka poem you have penned for the Picture This challenge. You used very good and cute descriptive words that sounded like it was happening as I read it. Cute little kids at school discussing! I love this Patty! Blessings, Teri

Nice style. I just hope those kids are collaborating, not cheating :) I like the go home line a lot. The pivot line works perfectly. Great example of a Tanka.

"Do you wanna", is an extremely well-written piece. Each line of this talented poet's work is woven with the golden threads of truth. It was a pleasure to both read and review a poem of this standard.

Now most of elementary school is taught with students collaborating with each other. Much different than when I started teaching. I enjoyed reading your poem. Thank you for sharing.

Hi, Barbara;
thank you so much for reading. I would have benefited from an education that taught collaboration. When I was finishing my MBA, I had an incredibly tough time working in groups. I always wanted to 'just do it myself!' One of my instructors said I was guilty of 'not playing well with others.'

This is a perfect recipe for successful living on this planet. Life is indeed very hard and getting through it is very difficult when attempted by one;s self. That we need each other is such a given that you have to wonder why so many try it on their own and are surprised when they fail.

I like the form, and how you've used it to make it a to-the-point exchange between children. I can't help but think of how my son and another boy in school decided to do odd and even numbered questions, then copy each other's answers to come up with a complete homework assignment. My son was bewildered when he got caught "cheating", he had no idea he was doing anything wrong! LOL
Thanks for the memories, Roseanne

Hi, Roseanne;
Funny how kids think their ideas are totally original, and it couldn't be cheating - it was just their creative way of getting things done!

Lol! You reckon? ...
We should do this together
Two heads are better than one
What if your partner is a twit?
Hey, only this morning I told my co-driver to quit using his head to steer my car.

LOL!
Hi Nicole;
I do get what you're saying. While I was completing my MBA, it seemed I would always be part of a group who didn't quite get it! I spent a great deal of time wishing I could just complete the assignment on my own!

Brief (as obviously intended by style), very well presented in photography to create immediate reader grip, and so far as I can tell (not being a client of this style) all is excellent here and nothing to offer to make it any better! HIS GRAYNESS; Vance

I like your interpretation through literal observation of the picture. Its a great picture hey I love the way the sun shines through and illuminates their innocence and their joy of learning Its easy to get inspired to write something I must say.
