So Joe saw the albino boy and it frightened him. People didn't understand it back then. The poor child had to remain hidden in an attic because he was different. Sir John must be aware that Joe has seen him. Veronica needs to step in and help them

If I understand right, Joe's boss is angry at him because he saw the albino child, which in their time is considered a Devil, and Joe also mysteriously disappeared around that same time.

Now Veronica just has to convince him that the young'un is not the devil spawn, plant the idea of the monastery. It might take some doing but I have faith in her abilities. Oh my goodness, Sandra. Well at least the truth is out about what Joe saw, which was really Frances. Now Veronica just has to convince him that the young'un is not the devil spawn, plant the idea of the monastery. It might take some doing but I have faith in her abilities. THe devil's spawn? Who or what could that have been? I don't know why Joe is being thrown out of his home, but surely it won't happen. Veronica will know a way to prevent more trouble. I hope.

I like this chapter a lot.
Of course Daveth would like to see the future. Think what improvements he and Joe might make to their family's life, with things they learn from the future.

I like this chapter a lot.
