Loved the dreamy watercolour to compliment your poem. Politicians have been the same since the Roman Forum was formed! All for one and all for themselves. Unfortunately, we vote them in, hoping they will change things for the better. Just have a look at the money they make! Trump pays a token of one dollar because he is a billionaire! Nice loop poem, Kahpot. You are talking about why a rogue politician like Trump, or Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner can't get any changes done. They are resisted by the political "gang" that holds the reins of power and who won't let the outsider effect any changes. Many nations, even if they have "the vote" can't get a tyrant out of office no matter what they do. Just the way it is.

Action from leaders who surround all nations
Nations of people obstructed from safety

I can't give you pointers on the mechanics of writing but i can tell you how it made me feel.
It makes me feel like I'm not alone in the belief that all politicians are crooks, both sides equally have no principal.
