Bill, this was fun. I had to read it a few times. I got it, I think, first go, but the re-reads were for assurance. "I got shotgun" = best line in the script.

I enjoyed reading how ducks 'talk'. They seem to be pretty smart about humans, but not about decoys. They may be sorry about going to eat there. I like the line about 'I got shotgun.' Thanks for sharing--look forward to others in this series. Jan
