Yes, there's one in every group...the one who "looks down her nose"...great line. Looking forward to continuing on from this enjoyable segment. Well done.

    Hello again!

    I'm thrilled you are enjoying this story. I have been 'percolating' this novel for so long; it is hard to pace myself in writing it. I just want to take a couple of days and knock the whole thing out. (It's entirely formed in my head.)

    Thanks, again,

I can't imagine the people in the waiting room will get along too well. None of them seem to be of like mind. I'm still curious about Roger. What happens to him?

    Hi, Cindy; it will all come together as we move along. We join Roger at a later time,

Very interesting words to read
We are human beings we read, talk
walk and run and have lots of fun
or we may be sad and angry a t times
We make mistakes we are human beings.
If we are kind and helpful to others
we will feel happy, if we are unkind
God does not like those who are unkind.

The interest is still there. I'm eagerly anticipating the next chapter.
A mesmerizing and unique tale. Can't help but wonder how I would handle these circumstances.

This is a really interesting piece, unfolding into a great, wide view of all kinds of people who believe all kinds of things, have all kinds of trepidations and preconceptions, and react in all kinds of ways to the situation they find. in that way, it is very true to life. Some people enjoy the machines, the ability to view episodes of their life, others seem to be more interested in living in the moment, sharing with the people around them. Some look down their noses at the people around them, Others are not sure where they fit in, what to expect. It is a story As a Christian, I believe all roads must go through Jesus. Why? Because He was the sacrifice that set us free; Because of His suffering, The Father makes Him the judge of humanity. But His judgement may surprise people. "Many shall say to me, Lord, Lord; but I will say to them, depart from me you evildoers; I never knew you." estory

    Hi there;
    thank you so much for your thoughtful and thorough review. I, too, am a Christian, and I believe Christ is 'the way and the Truth,' and my personal belief system will come into a bright light in the continuation of this story.

    I hope you will enjoy the rest of the book, should you choose to come along,

Yes, my friend, this is well written it shows that there are many beliefs and even though this is the case the people will be all treated the same and judged well done regards Jill

    Hi Jill;
    you got it exactly. I'm doing my best to share my opinions and beliefs, rather than force them on anyone. I truly believe we will be judged and forgiven by the blood of Christ,

I like the descriptions of characters, so we can visualise them and get to know each of them. A unique story, Patty, one I hope to follow through to the end...

But I'll be off line from 5th Oct onwards until we BT comes to our new home to sort out broadband for us.

    Thank you, Patty - this move has been a long time coming all through the buyer's solicitor stupidity - but one has to stay calm - I don't want another heart-attack - it will all be worth it once we are there.

Love it! Your thinking resonates with mine to a degree that is disturbing. I have tried a number of versions of organised religion and to some degree now buy into the maxim "God invented religion but the devil organised it."
ITO your writing - flows very well and is very descriptive of the personalities. I did struggle a bit with the mental picture of the waiting room, but perhaps you covered that earlier in your book. If not, I'm picturing a doctors office waiting room with vending machines along one side but then when there is mention of a recliner and the gathering together to talk, presumably moving chairs around to do so, it shifts to a clinic or hospital or rehabilitation centre common room.
Can't wait for the next chapter. :)

    Hi Bob;
    welcome to my dreams about going to Heaven!! (If you think this way, too - maybe we're on to something!) The basis of the actual room is described in the Introduction. (I'm only four chapters in, so maybe if you have time, you can read the other chapters. I usually make a chapter about 1500 words.)
    Thank you SO much for the lovely six star rating - it motivates me to keep going. The next chapter should be up closer to the end of the week,

This is certainly a very interesting personal take of the Hereafter, Patty.

Ilike how you give insight to each person's life and profession, their different looks at, and takes in, the life they led and hope to encounter in their new situation. You have a very healthy imagination in this regard. All that you attributed to the various people sounded authentic and fitting, at least in the way we envisage different people regarding their ethnicity and profession.

Great read, thanks for it.

    Thanks! It was a lovely surprise - a lady who is a Facebook friend suggested my book for her book club. Then end up nominating it book of the month, and one of them is the editor of CG Magazine and offered to feature me, the book and my works in general.
