thank you for sharing your ABAB poem for the contest. Within the rhyming pattern of your piece, there were a few rhymes that didn't exactly work for me. I always have a problem when someone uses words like 'group' and 'troops' as rhymes. The plural doesn't have the same ending sound.
You have made a good stand about the problems with nuclear war -- no one really wins,

One idiot, verses one loud mouth, neither with the tack of a female praying mantis, a recipe for disaster. Thanks for sharing another fine poem. :-)

I often fear opening political posts. Some bash you on the head, or do nothing but demonize the other side. This one, I'm glad I read. It's calm, rational and sane. Can't say that about a lot of our political leaders these days!

Perhaps consider a metaphor for the bomb (e.g., a deadly flower blossoming,etc.) and for the different groups of people, the crazy rogue.
