I'm glad to see someone posting a poem like this. I have had one spinning around in my pointed noggin for a while now. Can't seem to put it together.
Our world is getting sicker and sicker all the time. And September didn't help much with all those terrible hurricanes laying waste to the Caribbean. We sure don't need Trump and Kim Jong-un tweeting each other to death, threatening nuclear war. There's enough blood being shed with crazy terrorists running around.
Good entry for the ABAB poetry contest. Good Luck in the voting booth!

A sensitive subject, but well presented truthfully with a deep insight of today's current conditions. I enjoyed the sophiscated rhyme scheme and implication that sometimes (correct me if I'm wrong) truth can be inconvenient. A much needed poetic presentation for today's world.

People are in the position to handle issues of national security. I realize people who don't think like Americans, for some reason, what to die. I can't wrap my head around that but I like to believe our security people know what to do if or when they see a real threat to our national security. I share the same fears your poem expressess.

We are living in very scary and unsettled times that is for sure friend. I think your well written poem highlighted the present global crisis that does not seam to have any light at the end of the tunnel, which is borderline insanity.
