A very well-written katauta. It is usually seen as a private message between two lovers. A message your lovet will understand and cherish and from time to time will answer back.

Good for you in trying a new form. I checked the contest requirements and your syllable count is correct. I like that you describe the loved one in the first two lines and in the last show your resolve to "stand with him." The contest directions say that this form "addresses a lover" and so this might be a reason to change the poem a bit.

This one is good. It rolls down the mountain gathering momentum and makes the day splendid. Just like this short 5-7-5 poem it speaks from the heart. I like it. Good luck on the contest.
