Hello Uno!! I love your words here and often think about God's grace and how I need more of it in my communication with others.
Living with Al and Tim is very nice. It's a nice house, nice neighborhood. I love the screened porch. We weathered Irma with little problem, only 24 hour loss of power.
The guys are so nice to me, very helpful and protective. They go to church every Sunday, Al is in the choir and they attend most of the other church functions so I usually have a ride there. I have rejoined the church choir which has a new director, Bruce. There are ten of us in the choir now and it is sounding really good, a lot of lung power and the congregation loves it. A guy named David, from church who is retired, gives me a ride on payday to take care of my errands and he also takes me to my doctor appointments.
On August 1st I was in the cardiac cath lab. They unplugged an area in my one remaining coronary artery and inserted two more stents. This should give me a couple more years!
It is said that karma is a bitch . . . what goes around comes around. Well, karma has bit Kathy in the ass really bad! While in Shands Hospital, she was diagnosed with MRSA. This bacteria is eating her bones and she has to have daily infusions directly into her body to try and stop it. She is bed ridden, cannot get up. With Charlie doing the care taking and her not being able to go here and there all the time, she has to be miserable! I'm sorry that she is this seriously ill BUT karma is a bitch! Be careful what you do to others because you will pay the price!

HI Dos, yes I got home safe...we had tree damage...and some fences...but we were of electric over a week...we had a generator...but it did hold of the heat...we had water...but the stores ran out the day after we got ours...the gas ran out....and so did the milk...bread and other foods ran out as well...but we did get through...we had it much better than some...but the heat we awful...we all slept in the living room so we could be by the fan...
as for Kathy...I am so sorry she is so ill...but I believe much like you...what goes around...comes around...she has a lot to think about...thank you for your lovely stars you...and a great review...I'll call you soon...take care...so glad you are doing well with Al and Tim...both seem like really great guys...I'm happy your there...later...love you...Uno...

Hi again: Kathy is mending now but has had quite an ordeal. We have had 3-2 hour sessions of laying on the table the problems which arose and getting some understanding of 'why'? Without being prompted, she offered an apology regarding the last two days which were just crazy. The first two hours were on the phone. The second two hours were on Facebook Messenger and the 3rd was face to face on the beach in Crystal River which was a place we used to like to go together. She is getting OC and PT at her house and has a lot more to do to be well again. She can walk a short distance using a walker, cannot drive and just got her voice back which is about 5 octaves higher than it use to be. When she is well enough, we will begin seeing each other again but I'm laying new ground rules and if she doesn't like them, I will not date her. I WILL NOT move back in with them. It doesn't work. I will not even stay the night at her house if Charlie is there. If she wants to plan a "date night" once or twice a week with me, we can do that here in Gainesville. Those are the beginning rules. If I need more, I will develop them. I am proceeding cautiously. Take care of yourself. Linda

It is very sad, friend:( The devil has a hold of many people. I do believe God has also taken His hand of protection off of us for turning from Him and His word. He is trying to wake us up and draw us back to Him. That's why all the weather changes and storms too. We don't listen very well, do we? I'm afraid it will get worse if we don't start getting it soon:( Pray for the people to see it! Stay strong and stay in the word. It's the only way we will make it through these last days. Love you.

Simple words, yes, but echo the prayer of everyone from popes to unchurched trailer trash. And sometimes they pray so loud they drown out that small still voice.

It's a beautiful prayer that does less speaking but opens the speaker's heart to listen to how God will speak and reveal His grace. So much of the most fruitful part of prayer is listening in faith.
