Shana, we have a lot going on with the Breedline. It looks like Helen and Alexander is getting along well, wink, wink. Good writing Ms Shana. Love the connection between the characters.
Now that Sebastian has met this Lilith, he has a magic relic medallion to sneak into the Covenant and take his sons, Steven and also kill the queen. It doesnt look good for the Breedline. Looking forward to your next post. Fantastic chapter, as always.

I thoroughly enjoyed the read. And each time I notice your wonderful improvement in craft, story-telling and lack of spags.
Sebastian admired the painting of (Vincent van Gogh's - don't italicize the name of the artist; just the name of his work needs to be italicized) Arles at night time, hanging above the fireplace mantel.
As they headed to the study together, Sebastian saw Eve in(I'd delete "in" and change it to "from") the corner of his eye.
Especially, someone, he didn't even know.
~ do you really want those commas in there?

So glad you stopped in to read more adventures of the Breedline. :) Thank you for the encouraging words. I am learning so much from everyone. I do appreciate all the help and motivation. That definitely gives me inspiration to keep writing. I look back at my writing from the beginning and say, "Wow... I've come so far."
It's all because of talented writers like you my friend. I'm lucky to have been given a chance and encouraged to keep on going. After I finish the fourth book I'm working on, I am going to rewrite my first book. A story can always be better and I want to give it all I have.

How is Eve in her all this? I wonder if disconnection from her past and desire to fulfil a worthwhile and productive future for her kids...I think there is a surprise for the reader...is there not? Yes... Lilith is after Steven. Very clever my friend. :)
I really enjoyed writing Helen and Alexander's bonding. I think they make a perfect pair. Helen has devoted her life with research and helping others, believing she would never be marriage material. But Alexander sees her as both intelligent and beautiful giving her the confidence she has lacked for years.
