I like that the viewpoint of this is open to everyone's belief systems. But now I am dying to know what happens! You describe everything so perfectly and make this sound truly believable as God's waiting room. I liked the use of scripture and I liked the indication of waiting to see what happens next...I will wait with anticipation. I am Christian but this is certainly not offensive to me xx Kind regards and best wishes Meia x

Hi Meia;
Sorry --- no spoilers for you!! You will simply have to wait. I'm so worried about anyone taking offense, but my beliefs are pretty far out to some, so I just have to take a leap of faith on this one,
Hope you will come along for the ride!

It is an interesting story Patty. We all think around what might be waiting for us or what might happen after we die. Actually there is no reason to do that. It is what it is and there is no escape, Well done. Nancy

Hi Nancy;
thank you so much for reading and reviewing. I'm enjoying putting my thoughts and notes down in the form of these stories. I've been thinking about how this last chapter in our lives will go for some time now,
I hope you will follow the rest of the story,

This is quite well written and as a born again Christian, I look forward to the day my name is called. Have I done everything right and never sinned since the day of my salvation? No way, but God has been faithful in His mercy to forgive me those sins. Patricia

Hi Patricia;
I'm so glad you enjoyed this chapter. I can't wait to be called. It seems as though my meeting with Him will be the BEST thing ever. Yes, His blood did cover all of our sins, and we can rely on His words,

I enjoyed this chapter of waiting for what comes next..
The only thing that seemed 'uncomfortable' is the statement:
'On shaky legs, Roger stood up.'
Because: He wasn't scared, he wasn't curious...he knew.
Otherwise, for me it's an interesting concept. It's well written, creates curiosity, plus a desire to follow the story.
The only typo I found:
' each one of (their) minds.'
I think that's what you meant...
