Yes, you've written a beauty! Things that many men must feel and think are illustrated so well in your poem. The rhyming lends itself well to the theme as it conveys 'the chase'. I really enjoyed it. Sue

My forty-year-old son is still a bachelor and I felt your poem was describing him. I enjoyed your rhymes and hope he experiences your happy ending. Smiles- Joan

This is a really well written poem, I loved it. I'm a big fan of rhyming poems and this is perfect in my opinion. I loved the ending as well when two people find each other. Thanks for sharing.

Hello
Yes your title drew me in about how a man can love a woman day in and day out
Just one part that was not clear to me is-
So hope turns his head,
as she turned her tread-
now they both live
for the future...

He looked at her in passing.
One final try for something.
She hesitates, and turns his way.
And the rest is their story today.

This is a poignant poem and is so true. many times men will think a woman is not interested, yet he will pursues her and in the end find he has received the best gift of all, a woman. Patricia

This one gave me some pause due to personal circumstances. I believe there is a time for everything. I had a Aunt who was widowed 25 years and then met 'Jim.' He was a wonderful man and embraced her as well as the family. They lived a wonderful life together.

I think the artwork goes especially well with the poem.
I enjoyed this poem. I liked what you had to say.
Your rhyme and meter are spot on.
I have no suggestions for improvement. Great job.
