This is a lovely tribute to all people struggling with this terrible disease. It also sends praise to the thousands of volunteers who do their utmost to provide loving care to their fellow traveler on this tiny planet called home, as they wait for the Real Home we will be given. Thank you this wonderful piece.

This is a very well written story in a poem you have shared my friend. You used such great descriptive wording I felt as if I was right there with you walking along. I am so sorry about your husband. My mother died of lung cancer several years ago. Not a nice death. Blessings, Teri

thank you. It is sad how many people I have heard back from who have had either family members or themselves effected by cancer I appreciate your kind remarks. I have no reviewer recs left, I'm sorry to say, but thanks again.

thanks, Barb. Yes, I do and these poor souls make me feel humble and I must say, grateful. Some of them even crack jokes. My husband did, for awhile. I hope I don't say the wrong thing. There is so much change going on I just hope I don't take them to the wrong place.

A very well-written sad and heartfelt poem. It is one of the most feared illnesses for decades. The research to cure cancer seems to lead nowhere and the situation gets worse by the day.
