Good morning, Patty
Out of sixes and it's only Monday
I liked your informal setting of a group of six individuals (souls) using only first names, making small talk whether they'll enter heaven or take the elevator to Hell. Enjoyed Nice hook at the end.
Take care and stay safe,
Ray

Hi Margaret;
thank you so much. First for reading, and secondly, for the EXCEPTIONAL rating. I'm glad you are enjoying this story. I'm hoping to post a few chapters a week. I've had the outline for this one for quite some time. I finished several chapters while I was in the hospital - all with pencil and paper! Now, I'm editing and getting ready.

Hope all went well in hospital, my friend.

hi;
they managed to get my new medications straightened out, and I'm not continually sleeping -- so, that's a good thing.
And, I'm enjoying writing again - which I needed desperately,

Good for you - stay strong. Smile.

When I opened this I thought it was going to be about someone sitting in a doctor's office waiting to receive test results. I was way off the mark.
I have, at times found myself saying "If I could just sit down and have a conversation with You that would be great, to see how I am doing and am I on the right path." Although I want it to be while I am here after I have gone through the waiting room doors.
I liked how Janelle starts to take note of her life she was given and how she lived it.
I am looking forward to see what is through the door.

Hi MJ:
the premise for the story is about following seven souls as they go through the doors. Janelle is the lead character, and in subsequent chapters, we will meet the six others and learn about their lives. In the Introduction, I described the 'Waiting Room,' which is the door that opened at the end of the chapter you just read. The 'big guy' will show up closer to the end of the book.
Thank you for reading -- I hope you enjoy it,

You're writing a very original story, Patty. You reminded me a bit of a book I read a long time ago called Five People You Meet In Heaven.
I don't think what you are writing can be understood as offensive by anyone.
Thanks for sharing.

It is hard to grow spiritually with a life that's too easy on earth especially with everyone waiting on Janelle. All these reflections are ones that everyone might have in life and as in this story after life. Good interactions between the people.

I enjoyed this very much, and it definitely stirs the question within for the reader of where they will fall into this checklist for eternal living. You have my curiosity peaked as to how a 22 year old model loses her life, so I hope I can catch the next installment.
I enjoyed the descriptions of the characters Janelle herself, seemed to be judging :D

Janelle the super-model has led a full and star-struck, privileged life. She has inner doubts as to how she's lived her life. She's lived it mainly for herself. Now it's judgement time. The angel has asked her to come through to the place where something is about to happen. Looking forward to reading more!

I'm enjoying this Patty, who truly knows how gracious God can be and indeed keeping His own and truly separating. I think we are all different, and their certainly isn't any compulsion by God, to prefer one set of people over another. He rejoices in our difference, and not all progress at different, but God doesn't care. Well done, indeed, a very well written. Thoughtful theme,

Hi Roy;
you hit on the points I'm hopefully going to make. I want to make each of the characters diverse and different. I'm hoping to show the things I learned in comparative religion classes and share my own beliefs without being too preachy.
I hope you will continue to enjoy the story.
Thank you so much for reading and reviewing,

Of course, I think we both believe in a gracious, loving t God He's certainly not interested in denominations and religious tradition or doggerel, He's just like any parent who desires relationship with His children, irrespective of failing, Christ was perfect for us. We haven't taken Him by surprise. Heh heh,

No problems found with the writing and I love the way you wove the content into the story and the question about requirements. Nicely done
