And this is a true statement. Well thought out and clearly written. May creativity always have limitless creativity. Glad to see that the Geico Lizard has relatives. Cute presentation. Nice work.

I thought it was.
However, I was actually accused by a reviewer of "tilling" the site with this poem.
Some people just don't get what FanStory is all about.
Go figure.

I'm shocked that a brand newby gave you such a lousy rating. Sometimes they have no concept as to what is required in a contest and/or what they are looking at. I agree with your 10-word poem. To be exposed to other writers helps us to become better ourselves simply by reading good stuff. Much luck in the contest. Marilyn

Appreciate your support.
I chalked those comments up to the source they came from and moved on to big and better things.
Glad you enjoyed this little 10-worder.

I love the image. It's amusing and whimsical.
Unfortunately, there's a fine line between being meta, and just schilling the site. They might appreciate it, but it's not entertaining to read. In the end, this piece had no impact on me. 10 word stories are never easy. This is more like a ten word ad.

Yes, I have to admit to being more creative since I've joined here. I think the semi-anonimity is also part of it. I've always liked having a nom de plume as a writer...I guess I think that way if it stinks the real named being won't be so embarrassed.
