The picture is awesome. I never expected that from Helen. She's always so serious. How you described it at the end, "making her feel like a teenager again." is excellent description and helps me to imagine it. Nice chapter!

So glad you enjoyed this one. Yes, Helen is always serious and dedicated to her research, but Alexander has put a spark into her ordinary life. I think their relationship is romantic.

So, Helen and Alexander finally confirmed their Breedline bond? I thought you did an excellent job with the romantic scene. Very tasteful but exciting. I could sense the tension between the characters.
You described Helen's change superbly. I could visualize all the details as I read along. Great job.
I also enjoyed reading the scene in the kitchen. It seems like your characters have a family unity. Looking forward to your next post!

I like that the Breedline are not like the legend Lycanthropies. I like how the use the word beloved. Interesting read, would be great as a movie. I would definitely watch this with my daughters.

I loved the scenes of Helen and Alexander making love, and then her change. Classy! I couldn't have done it better.

Here is something you're brilliant with: creating suspense, anticipation, breath-holding tension. Like you do with Tim leaving Angel, looking in and finding the nursery empty, knocking on Jem's and Mia's bedroom ~ nothing, nobody! By now the reader is chewing their nails...

I was hoping to keep the romantic scene between Helen and Alexander tasteful. They are both in their forty's and I didn't want to make the love scenes too much. I wanted to build the anticipation and leave most of it to the imagination.
