I was stuck in England when the towers were hit. Your words are important because we must never forget. I like how your poem is in red and white with a blue background. A feeling of patriotism comes through your words.

Thanks so much.

Oh wow! What a picture! It's as though that child can see the
"swirl of souls rising in the lights" of the Twin Tower Memorial. That was a terrible time for Americans and you are right. We must never forget that we are just as vulnerable as any other country. Well done. Nancy

Thanks so much. in light of present day squabbling, I wanted to remind that we are all united and also must not forget our past.

I heard someone say the other day, "It's been sixteen years, why are we still talking about September 11th," and my heart sank.
Your poem is beautiful.
the flights of death would not go quietly,
as their passengers refused to succumb,
(without) fighting to the end to save others.
I understand what you were saying here, but my thought is that it would read more smoothly if you removed the word without.
as their passengers refused to succumb,
fighting to the end to save others.
Just a thought.
A beautiful tribute. Thank you.

Red, white, and blue. These colors don't run.
Using them for this well crafted poem adds another dimension to it.
America proved that even though we were attacked we have come back much stronger than we were before.

Thank you for freminding US in just this way that you have with the right words.
It takes people awhile I gues to understand how such an event has to be
turned around by the living.

You are right that this is one of the happenings that we can and should never forget
I like the patriotic and strong use of red white and blue for the background. and font color. Your word bring back strong images of what was seen that day and the feeling that united Americans and the world against this ever happening again.

Dear frogbook, Excellent tribute to the patriotism, courage and heroism of our country, and a wonderful way to honor the people who were involved in 9-1-1, the dead, the living, the grieving, the rescuers, the passengers, everyone. I hope however, that it doesn't take something like this again to make us all stand together, all races, all lands, united as one. We should do that all the time, anyway. Dove

Hi frogbook,
What you have written is interesting to read.
I enjoyed it very much as you've done a great job.
The only thing is that red against blue bothered me.
The white words you used were so much better than red.

I'm sure that none of us who remember that dreadful day will ever forget, and every time we see innocent lives taken, anywhere in the world, the horrible thoughts come flooding back. Thanks for sharing.

A very well-written heartfelt tribute in memory of the 9/11 events that shook the world and no one that knows about it will ever be able to forget that day
