What a sincere and heartfelt poem for your friend. I am sorry to hear of her troubles.
Yes it seems premature aging can get us via other avenues and it's hard enough to stay upright as it is, let alone having to deal with some kind of affliction.
I'm sure your friend appreciates your support.

Nicely written poem. This poem speaks of inspiration and courage. I have a relative that I need them to know I will never give up on them. Everything that happens to us only makes us stronger and He never gives us more than we can handle. We just have to remember that. Thank you for sharing, N.B

We really don't realize how fortunate we are sometimes until we run up against someone like your dear friend.
