I don't mean to seem unpleasant, but I am glad the little skunk did actually make it across the road. I was waiting for the punch line of another black red and white road smear and the last skunk making some "sarky" remark. This format is a departure from previous postings, and one which I find appealing. Nice one Bill . cheers Cass

Really cute. I like that you highlighted scent every time you use it. After all, some readers can't smell anything even if it's right under their nose. An old job at the ending, but you did it well.
