Good morning again, Ricky: My, my, my...this is such a beautiful and moving poem. It really touched my heart and I could feel your agony and grief about this loss. There is no pain, no suffering like that of the loss of a child or children. This pain I know dearly and in fact. I have lost my oldest son and my (1rst born) and my last child, my infant daughter, (5th and last born) so I do know this pain dearly. It is not one that I wish on anyone but it helps to know and meet other parents who have lost children or a child because we can give comfort and understanding to each other.
I do not know what it feels like to lose a spouse and right after you have lost your only son. This must be like the equal feeling of having your heart ripped and torn right out of your chest and then stomped on. My heart is with you, Ricky.
What gives me comfort is not only my relationship with my Heavenly Father, Jehovah and His Son, Jesus Christ but I take great comfort in His Word, the Bible. The scriptures are so comforting. the below are some scriptures that helped me through some of what I have been through and gave me strength. I will continue to share some scriptures with you, including God's promises which will not fail to come to be. much love...
2 Corinthians 1:3-5 - 3) Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, 4) who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. 5) For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ.....New International Version (NIV).
Romans 15:4 - 4) For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope. New International Version (NIV)
James 1: 12 & 13 - 12)Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him. 13)When tempted, no one should say, "- God" is tempting me. For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He tempt anyone.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 - 16) All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17) so that the servant of God[a] may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. New International Version (NIV)

This is a heartbreaking story of children who are taken too soon. I'm sorry for the loss of your son and granddaughter. You are a special person to donate your child's organs. He lives on in those lucky enough to receive his organs. God bless you and keep you safe.
