Beautifully written but I'm not so sure that I agree. Can we ever belong to someone or they belong to us? Nonetheless, the emotions are there, the passion is present and the thought is beautifully expressed. . . reality? That's another poem. :)

Whichever form of poetry you choose, whatever you write about love always seems to turn out well. This sweetly dreamy poem reads so smoothly that the form does not even matter. In many of the newer forms, the form intrudes too much on the thought or emotion the writer is trying to convey. That is especially true of the forms requiring frequent repetition of lines. On the other hand, free verse often feels like prose just broken into phrases stacked vertically. Your poem here just flows, even has some well-placed (but unforced) rhyme, and never disturbs the loving daydream mood you create for the reader. Of course, any sensible man who knows he is the inspiration for such delightful thoughts must reciprocate.... Superb, and aptly illustrated -- I like the poem-winged butterflies.

This poem is beautiful in sentiment and form. The love/romance oozes from your smooth flowing stanzas.
Also, the poem has a sense of solace, for some reason.
