Another excellent look into the worlds of pets through their eyes. I like the various emotions and the interaction between their peers and those of their owners. We've two dogs and two cats and the dynamics between them as times is remarkable. Enjoyed. Out of sixes.

okie dokie. Nice photo. Someone named Barney was coming to play. That sounds good for ole Howie. Howie Long. Ex football player comes in mind. Awe, maybe love at first sight. Howie took one look at the over long ears and tail that wagged like a whip. Some comical lines, here. Howie could hear the joy in the Mistress's voice. "Oh! This is so beautiful. I'm so glad we live here. The path of totality and seeing this in person is unbelievable."

What a fun way to tell of your eclipse watching trip through the eyes of dogs. They had a lot to say but not so much about the eclipse. It all sounded amazing. I am really happy you had great weather to see it--65* AT 9:30 sounds perfect.

Hi Jan;
thank you so much for the lovely review of the latest Howie and Bernie story. We read so many stories about whether or not the dogs would need special sunglasses too. We read quite a few that said the dogs instinctively knew to NOT look at the sun.

Truth was, none of the dogs looked up - not even at the humans. They were far more concerned about the darkness and weird feeling in the air.

Hi, Patty, this was a fun read. I saw the news on NZ TV a few days ago. I saw masses of people flocking to see the eclipse. Only about a minute! I hope you didn't blink. The photos on TV were awesome. It was quite dark for that minute.

seeing the eclipse with my hubby and some dear friends was wonderful. I had never seen a total eclipse in person, so it was very special and a minute full of wonder for the beauty of the universe.
